Gorton’s Review & Giveaway

If I would allow it, my girls would eat shrimp every day of the week.  I usually have some sort of frozen fish or seafood in my freezer at any given time in order to keep everyone happy!  Gorton’s is a leader in the frozen seafood industry.  It’s a brand I trust will provide quality products for my family, and the only one that I’ll buy.  They have an array of fish and shrimp, prepared anyway you like it!
Gorton’s New Grilled Items:
  • Tilapia Lemon Peppercorn Grilled Fillets
  • Grilled Shrimp Classic
  • Grilled Shrimp Scampi
I received two coupons for a free product thanks to Gorton’s!  I will say upfront, I am not a fan of fish or seafood, but the rest of my family loves it.  I redeemed the coupons at Kroger, and they had a fantastic selection to choose from!  One thing even a non-fish eater can appreciate it their packaging.  Gorton’s has new Resealable Bags!  I don’t understand why this isn’t the standard when it comes to frozen foods in a bag.  So Thanks Gorton’s!!  (No more wasted food due to freezer burn!!)

Classic Grilled Shrimp
First I let my girls Gorton’s Classic Grilled Shrimp.  They usually eat breaded shrimp, so I was curious to see if this would fly!  Apparently they were very tasty.  They made them while I was gone…hence, no pic!  My husband said the shrimp had a great ‘grilled’ flavor, and that he’d definitely buy them again.
Gorton’s Crunchy Golden Popcorn Shrimp
For the second coupon, I let my three year old pick a product. She chose the Crunchy Golden Popcorn Shrimp, of course!  The family loved these as well!  My husband said they were super crunchy and that it was real shrimp inside.  (No minced pieces!)  This is a great product to have in the freezer for quick lunches.  Every Gorton’s item I’ve purchased for my family has been extremely well received, including both shrimp varieties tested for this review!
