I’m from the Midwest, so until I was almost 30 my idea of eating “BBQ” was firing up a grill and tossing some hamburgers on! Lucky for me, I went on to live in two states popular for their BBQ…Texas and North Carolina. (Anyone who knows anything about BBQ knows that those states offer two totally different types of BBQ!) One thing I’ve learned is that every state really does prepare their BBQ in a unique way. That’s why I enjoy ordering ribs from around the country, and having them delivered right to my door!
Pig of the Month is a small company in Dayton, Ohio that started making BBQ after scouring the U.S. in a quest to find the best! They took all the tips, tricks and recipes they learned along the way, and decided to create their own! Their meats are certified humane and all natural. What makes them special is that they do everything in house slow and low, just the way BBQ was meant to be made! They have a wonderful recipe section, as well as a special Deal of the Month that you won’t want to miss!

Pig of the Month ribs!

...and a bottle of zesty sauce!
Pig of the Month sent me their Love Me Tender Fully Cooked Pork Ribs with Sauce and a bottle of Love Me Tender BBQ Sauce for review. The ribs arrived in a cold box and were vacuum-sealed to assure their freshness. Honestly, I couldn’t wait to try the ribs! They were already sauced and fully-cooked so all I had to do was reheat them on the grill or in the oven.

Wrap in foil and toss in the oven!

The ribs were so easy to prepare that it almost felt illegal to call them BBQ ribs!! I mean seriously, how often can you tell your family you’re having smoked BBQ ribs for dinner one minute, and serve them hot and ready to eat 45 minutes later?! The ribs Pig of the Month sent me were incredibly tender and full of rich, smoky flavor from the combination of how they were cooked and the sauce. I served the sauce on the side, but only because the ribs were already lightly sauced, and it would have given my kiddos a reason to pitch a fit. The ribs were spectacular with crunchy onion rings and fresh steamed broccoli.

DINNER!!
I would definitely order from Pig of the Month! If you’re not a BBQ’er, or just don’t have the time, then you’ll certainly want to give Pig of the Month a try!
