Last year I was invited to create a french fry recipe for Alexia Foods “Reinvent a Classic,” and it ended up being selected as a Top-4 Finalist! I was invited to the FoodBuzz Festival in San Francisco, met chef Tyler Florence, and watched anxiously as hundreds of food bloggers tried my french fries which were served before a gala dinner. To say it was a whirlwind of a weekend would be an understatement!
There are two months left to vote for which french fries you would like to have sold in stores, and as of right now I am in first place! So here’s my question…Have YOU voted today? That being said, I also want you to vote for the flavor you want to see in stores. My Classic Dill Julienne Fries are simple and delicious. They do not have a ‘sour’ flavor like a pickle chip, but rather loads of tasty dill with hints of garlic and onion…and an unexpected kick of heat at the end. Pair them with a burger, steak or sandwich…it’s a very versatile fry!
