Acai Bowl

A thick, frosty acai bowl topped with fresh fruit and granola is a refreshing, antioxidant-rich breakfast. It tastes like a treat but is built entirely on fruit. Beautiful to look at and even better to eat with a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen acai pack
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 100 g frozen berries
  • as needed splash of juice or milk
  • to top granola and fruit

Instructions

  1. Break the frozen acai pack into pieces.
  2. Blend the acai, banana, and berries with only a small splash of liquid.
  3. Push the mixture down and blend up from the bottom until thick and smooth.
  4. Scrape into a chilled bowl and smooth the top.
  5. Arrange granola, sliced fruit, and seeds on top.
  6. Serve immediately with a spoon.

💡 Chef's tip

Chill your serving bowl in the freezer first, which keeps the acai base from melting while you arrange the toppings.

Blending the frozen acai with as little liquid as possible keeps the base thick enough to eat with a spoon and hold its toppings.
