Baked Banana Oatmeal

A warm, sliceable oatmeal bake sweetened only with banana - make it once and breakfast is sorted all week.

Ingredients

  • 250 g rolled oats
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 400 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 180C (350F).
  2. Mash bananas, then mix with oats, milk, egg and cinnamon.
  3. Pour into a baking dish.
  4. Bake 30-35 minutes until set; cool and slice.

💡 Chef's tip

Cut into squares and refrigerate - it reheats in 30 seconds and travels well for grab-and-go mornings.

Using very ripe, spotty bananas means you need no added sugar; the riper the banana, the sweeter and more custardy the bake.
