Ingredients
- 600 g flank steak, sliced thin
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 green onions
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Toss the sliced beef in cornstarch to coat.
- Sear the beef in batches in hot oil until browned, then set aside.
- Saute the garlic and ginger briefly in the same pan.
- Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, and water and simmer until thickened.
- Return the beef and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Stir in the green onions and serve over rice.
