Ingredients
- 2 cans black beans
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- to taste onion and garlic
- 1 egg or flax egg
- 1 tsp each cumin and paprika
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the beans, then spread on a tray and dry in a 180C (350F) oven for 10 minutes.
- Mash most of the beans, leaving some whole for texture.
- Mix with sauteed onion and garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and spices.
- Form into patties and chill 20 minutes.
- Cook in a hot oiled pan for 4 minutes per side until crisp and heated through.
- Toast the buns.
- Serve with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite sauces.
