Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower
- 100 g flour
- 120 ml plant milk
- 120 ml buffalo hot sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cut the cauliflower into bite-size florets.
- Whisk the flour, plant milk, and garlic powder into a thin batter.
- Dip each floret to coat lightly and let the excess drip off.
- Air fry at 200C (400F) for 12 to 15 minutes until crisp and golden, shaking once.
- Warm the buffalo sauce with a little melted butter or oil.
- Toss the crisp florets in the sauce until coated.
- Air fry 3 minutes more to set the sauce, then serve with dip.
💡 Chef's tip
Make a thin batter that just coats the cauliflower, as a thick batter turns gummy and never crisps in the air fryer.
Tossing the battered florets in the buffalo sauce only after they crisp up keeps them crunchy, since saucing too early makes them soggy.
