Turkey Burgers

Turkey burgers are juicy, flavorful, and a lighter alternative to beef without sacrificing taste. Seasoned well and cooked just right, they stay moist and satisfying. Serve them on toasted buns with all your favorite toppings for a healthier cookout classic.

  • 700 g ground turkey
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 burger buns
  • to serve toppings

Instructions

  1. Mix the turkey with the grated onion, garlic, oil, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form into four patties and press a dimple in the center of each.
  3. Preheat the grill or a skillet to medium-high.
  4. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 75C (165F).
  5. Toast the buns.
  6. Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings and serve.

💡 Chef's tip

Make a small dimple in the center of each patty so it cooks flat instead of puffing into a dome.

Adding a little grated onion and olive oil to the lean turkey is the key to juicy burgers, replacing the fat that beef naturally has to keep them from drying out.
